My personal favorite vodka to date. It is silky smooth, has a good flavor with just the right amount of bite, and an almost sweet aftertaste to it. Excellent presentation as well.
I bought Vox on the suggestion of a friend, and I had a little time on my hands, so I made a martini with it. Upon the first sip, I actually said "WOW!" There is no burn to it, but it still has good vodka taste. I have gone through phases with all of the premium vodkas, Chopin, Grey Goose, Jewel of Russia, Belvedere, and others. This one is far and above the best!
Compared to other premium vodkas, I didn't like it at first. But I gave it a chance, and now it's in my top 3. I'd still take Vox over it any day, and perhaps Chopin as well. But a good vodka, especially for a Martini.
This vodka held my #1 spot for a while. It is very smooth and flavorful, possessing an almost sweet aftertaste. However, it does have a high degree of burn. It was recently dethroned by Vox, which has the same strong flavor, but no burn. Chopin is still among my favorites, however.
If you're getting a midrange vodka, get Skyy. It is definitely not a premium (although it's better than some $30 bottles), but it's the best in its pricerange.
